| Morrigan is a Triple Goddess. It has been said that there are 3 Goddesses who make up Morrigan; Badb, Macha and Nemain. In some places I have read that Badb is the Maiden, Macha is the Mother, and Nemain is the Crone. Badb has come to me in the Mother Aspect, so I see it a little differently. Morrigan is a Dark Goddess. She is the female Warrioress/Battle Queen. The New Moon is Her Sacred Time, that's when Her Energy is felt the most. Her Tarot Card is 16- The Tower. Her Sacred Number is 9, Endings. She rules the Sign of Scorpio, and Samhain is Her Sacred Holiday. She will walk you through The Underworld, showing you everything you've ever been afraid of, exposing you to everything you've ever tried to hide from. When Morrigan first came to me, a very wise High Priestess said to me "She (The Morrigan) doesn't make it easy." That High Priestess wasn't kidding. Morrigan forces you to grow Spiritually. She forces you to bring yourself up, to rise like the Phoenix. Morrigan challenges you. This is all done with Love, of course. The Morrigan assists those in crossing over in Death. She is a conduit of Death. Some say it is Her that comes for you when it's your time, and you pass through Her in order to reincarnate. Morrigan is a Battle Goddess. She was said to take the form of a Raven or a Hooded Crow and fly over the battlefield, making sure things went as She had planned. Sometimes She would make Fire or Blood rain down onto the enemies. Morrigan is a Goddess who helps Survivors of rape & abuse regain their strength. She will help you confront these traumas, understand them, and then heal from them. She gives you back your strength, and re-empowers you as a Goddess Woman. Morrigan is rather possessive of Her Priestesses. Once She has claimed you, you are Hers for life. Morrigan answers Prayers. You should Pray to Her when you are in need of Strength, Inner Healing of the Psyche, Protection, help with Magickal Workings... Magickal Workings most associated with Morrigan are Banishing Rituals, Protection Rituals, Healing Rituals, Astral Projection, Lust/Seduction Magick, and Rituals to gain Strength and Goddess Power. Sacred to Her - Ravens, Crows, Menstrual Blood, Dragon's Blood Resin, Red Meat, Quartz Crystals, Garnets, Rubies, Moonstone, Carnelian, Obsidian; specifically Obsidian Arrowheads, Magick, Divination, Willow Trees, Hazel, Blackthorne, Yew, Hawthorne, Mugwort, Apples, Pomegranates, Red Clover, The Dark Moon, Her Priestesses. Morrigan Divination/Prophecy- Morrigan was also known as The Washer at the Ford. She would predict who was going to win the battles, as well as who was going to die. She was seen washing the clothing and armor of the soldiers who were about to die. ~*~*~ )O( ~*~*~ |

Then recite this invocation: "I Invoke you Morrigan for this Psychic Charm To be forewarned is to be forearmed Goddess Morrigan please come to me Open my Third Eye, allow me to See The Past, Present, Future, whatever shall be Please give me clarity, shed some light Help me to lift the Veil tonight!" Then proceed to Scry. Gaze into your scrying tool, and allow the images or words to form. When you have finished, thank The Morrigan for assisting you with your Divination. Give Her the Offering. Remember to Ground. You may do so by sitting on the floor, with your palms on the floor. Release any excess Energy into the earth. When you are done give Thanks, then Close Circle. © Fae Garnet |
