The word Reiki is composed of two Japanese words: Rei and Ki - generally said to mean Universal life energy. Reiki has the ability to heal the body and the soul. Bringing the practice of Reiki into your daily life will do more to help you understand the nature of Reiki than words can ever convey.
I offer Levels I - III of Reiki. In the Reiki level I class you will learn what Reiki is, its history, the ethics of practicing Reiki and the hand positions. You will also be given the opportunity to practice. You will receive the book Essential Reiki by Diane Stein, a level I attunement, and a certificate with lineage. The class is a one day class that lasts 3 to 4 hours. The cost is $100.
In the Reiki Level II Class you will learn about the three symbols of Reiki and long distance healing. During the class we will practice healing with the symbols and review grounding exercises and the ethics of Reiki practice. You will receive the level II Reiki attunement and a certificate with lineage. The class is 5 hours long and costs $150.
The Level III Reiki Master Class is more involved. We will review what you have learned in the previous levels, what Reiki has come to mean to you and where you would like to go with your Reiki practice. This class trains you in how to teach Reiki and should only be taken by those with an interest in teaching. In the class you will receive the final symbol, a Master level attunement and a certificate with lineage. This is a full day class with an apprenticeship. The Master Level Class costs $300.

REIKI PRINCIPLES
Reiki heals diseases, but also amplifies innate abilities, balances the spirit, makes the body healthy and thus helps achieve happiness.
To teach this to others you should follow the five principals of the Meiji Emperor and contemplate them in your heart. They should be spoken twice daily, once in the morning and once in the evening.
Just for today I will give thanks for my many blessings.

Just for today I will not be angry.
Just for today I will do my work honestly.
Just for today I will be kind to my neighbor and every living thing.
The ultimate goal is to understand the ancient secret method for gaining happiness thereby discovers an all-purpose cure for many ailments. If these principles are followed you will achieve the great tranquil mind of the ancient sages.
To begin spreading the Reiki system, it is important to start from a place close to you (yourself). Do not start from something distant (philosophy or logic). Sit still and in silence every morning and every evening with your hands loosely clasped. Follow the great principles and be clean and quiet. Work on your heart and do the things from the quiet space inside you. Anyone can access Reiki because it begins within you.
